Our Nurseries
Eltham Rooms
Pink Room - Baby Room - Babies aged 3 to 18 months
Our baby room is the foundation of the starting journey through Bubbles Nurseries Eltham.
We nurture our babies to ensure that they build secure relationships and bonds with other babies and key people.
We explore different sensory activities which helps to encourage and develop their fine motor skills.
We encourage the babies first stages of their physical development, from rolling over, crawling/cruising to walking.
Our baby room staff team promote the usage of our 'all about me' forms to communicate and work in partnership with our parents to get to know more about our key children when they first join us.
We promote and home from home feel, by using the information provided to create a warm, safe nurturing environment.
Blue Room - Toddler Room - Children aged 18 months to 3 years
Our toddler room can hold up to 24 children a day.
We spilt the room according to the children’s ages and development.
Our day is based on ‘In the moment’ planning, where the children create their own play and interests. This allows the key person to plan and extend activities and play sessions to support their interests and development.
Potty training, we encourage the children to transition from nappies to the potty/toilet by following the children’s needs and expressions. We promote working in partnership with our parents during this time.
Our activities and play sessions range from building with construction toys and natural resources, creating opportunities for art and messy play.
We like to extend our interests from our indoor environment to our outdoor space.
We learn to become confident communicators and to develop friendships as explore and learn in our play.
Green Room - Preschool Room - Children aged 3 years to school age
Our Pre-school room can hold up to 12 children a day staff focus on preparing the children for the move to school.
We offer a variety of learning resources to enhance their development and independence.
We continue the ‘in the moment’ planning in our room and focus on the different areas of their development.
We explore different activities which include learning to count and recognising numbers and their names. Messy play is included during play to extend the children’s interests.
Parent partnership is important to us, and we continue to work with parents/carers to complete toilet training.
When children are ready to leave us to go off to Reception, we complete an end of nursery report which assists the transition into their ‘Big’ school.
Outside Environment
Our enclosed outdoor environment enhances the children’s learning and development and is just as important as our indoor environment.
We are lucky enough to have space to run, climb, ride, dance, dig, plant and explore.
Staff use the outside space as an additional classroom, and they use resources such as the maths and literacy sheds to help children extend their learning whilst enjoying outdoor experiences.
